The 2012 Las Vegas Paracon will be taking over Bonnie Springs Ranch on August 31st – September 2nd.  The event is going to be jam-packed with exciting special guests, vendors and a week-end of activities for those interested or curious about the paranormal.  CFM has been highlighting some of the guests that will be in attendance, and this time, we are taking a closer look at “Psychic Kids” star Travis Hill.

Travis was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on September 23rd 1990. Ever since he was little he has been fascinated with the paranormal.
At the age of 9, Travis had a near death experience which changed his life forever, and opened up a door to a whole new world. The world of the unknown, as some may say. He began seeing spirits and entities shortly after this traumatic experience.

As Travis grew older and learned more about his gift, and sharing it with others he started his own spiritual reading and empathic healing business.  His aunt is also a psychic and has helped him to hone his gift and learn how to control it.

In the summer of 2009 Travis was on a TV show called “Psychic Kids: Children of the Paranormal”. This show appeared on A&E, December 15th 2009. This show helped him get a better understanding of how to use his psychic abilities, understand the paranormal, and also intrigued him to create a TV show of his own, which he hopes will one day be a reality, through which he could help others around the world with his abilities and gift.

Travis has become a well known Psychic Medium and Healer in Utah , with clients from other states as well. Doing readings on the radio, like k-bear 101, 101.9 THE END and K-Talk Radio 630am including a lot of other radio stations Travis has really made a name for himself to be a Psychic that “cares, and loves”. Using his abilities and spiritual awareness to educate kids that have drug addiction, and special needs kids. A goal in Travis’ future is to become a well known Empathic Healer as well as Spiritual Medium & Psychic through-out the world, so that he can someday use his ability to help others in more places. Recently in Las Vegas for a paranormal event, he did readings for clients who have expressed that he was completely accurate and truly is a loving and caring individual.

Planning his own events, Travis plans to be a new founder of a reading technique that is called CSC (confident, Successful, Connections) this technique has worked for Travis and his students to be able to read people in an accurate, true, genuine way.

Harriet Jones.

Harriet Jones is a fictional character played by Penelope Wilton in the long-running British science fiction television series Doctor Who. Having worked previously with lead writer and executive producer Russell T Davies, Wilton was keen to involve herself with the revival of Doctor Who after he sought to cast her. Jones is introduced in the two-part story “Aliens of London” and “World War Three” as a Member of Parliament who aids the Ninth Doctor against an alien invasion of London.

Wilton returned for a Christmas special in 2005 as a familiar face to ease the transition between the sudden change in lead actor of the titular character. Despite being introduced as fair minded and hard working, the character is shown to be ruthless and uncompromising as Prime Minister, with comparisons made between Jones and real life politicians. Having been present for the first filming block of the 2005 revival series, Wilton returned for producer Phil Collinson’s final episodes to wrap up Jones’ story arc. The character is killed off in the penultimate episode of the shows fourth series in which she sacrifices her own life during a Dalek take over of earth.

A running joke associated with the character saw her frequently introduce herself by name and position only to be told “Yes, I/We know who you are”.

Author Stacey Jay (Dead on the Delta) releases the second book in her successful Annabelle Lee series, entitled “Blood on the Bayou”.  The fantasy series centers around a world where a terrorist attack has resulted in mutations in the Fey population.  The fairies who have always lived in harmony with humans have now turned deadly and are infecting people with their venom.  Most of the population is confined to cities behind iron gates, which the Fey have a tough time penetrating.  Annabelle Lee, who is one of the few people who is immune to fairy venom, works as an agent for the Fairy Containment and Control Bureau.

In “Blood on the Bayou”, Annabelle is called upon by her ex-lover, Hitch, to help him solve a murder and find a secret lab deep in the bayou which is producing chemical weapons and might have ties to the FBI.

“Blood on the Bayou” is witty and fast paced, with a heroine who is just this side of wrong, but wants so badly to be right.  The main character is relatable and funny and the story is peppered with action and romance.  Fans of the Supernatural fiction genre should be absorbed in this book that offers something for everyone.

It’s easy to be motivated with a legion of orcs on your tail. But on the streets of Los Angeles on regular old Earth, Astin must find the drive to run from within. On March 18, Astin ran the L.A. Marathon for the third time — but as he explained in a recent interview, he doesn’t always find it easy to push himself to lace up those shoes.

You might see actor David Dossett on the street and think that he looks really familiar, and he should.  Dossett has appeared in countless TV shows and films including “Sons of Anarchy”, “Justified” and “Californication”.  What a lot of people don’t know about Dossett is that he is also a long time Paranormal Investigator.

David’s interest in the paranormal began when he was a child in Virginia, where he lived on a Civil War battlefield with his family. He had a lot of experiences with the paranormal as a child.  His experiences started again once his mother died.  He has had visits from her spirit since that time. David joined a well-known paranormal group called “TAPS West Coast Team” in which his friend Britt Griffith (Ghost Hunters)  is the lead investigator.  David later became an investigator for that group.  He also recently appeared on the Travel Channel show “Paranormal Challenge”.
