The Multiple Award Winning Musical Film Was Written,

Directed and Co-produced By Robert Davi (“Die Hard,”

“Profiler”) and Stars Chazz Palmenteri and Peter Bogdanovich

Greg London (www.gregorylondon.com) has had a blast these past few years playing the world’s most famous “Icons”—but a bank robbing, doo wop singing “Duke”?

In “The Dukes,” which hits theaters everywhere November 14, the multi-talented musical impressionist—whose hit show “Greg London’s Icons” has been extended at Harrah’s Reno into 2010--harmonizes his way to infamy as part of a long washed up doo-wop group that turns, comically, to a life of crime.

His cohorts are Chazz Palmenteri, two time Academy Award nominee Peter Bogdanovich and renowned character actor Robert Davi (“Die Hard,” “Profiler”), who wrote, directed and co-produced the film.

“The Dukes” has been a huge hit this past year on the independent film festival circuit, snagging numerous major accolades: the Platinum Award for Best Screenplay and Special Jury Award for Best Director, First Feature Film at the Film Festival de la Comedie in Monte Carlo; nominee for Best Film at the Palm Beach International Film Festival; Winner, Prix Coup de Cour at the Festival International L’Alpes d’Hulez; Official Selection, in the Premiere Category, Cinema Rome Festival; Winner of a Special Jury Award for Best Director, First Feature Film and Gold Remi Award for Best Director at the Houston World Fest; Winner, Best Director and Best Producer, at Queens International Film Festival; and Official Selection at the Newport Film Festival.

As the creator and star of “Greg London’s Icons,” one of the longest running shows ever in Reno, the multi-talented musical impressionist spends his evenings channeling some of the greatest musical performers of our time: Buddy Holly, Joe Cocker, Jim Morrison, Bruce Springsteen, ZZ Top, Johnny Cash, Rod Stewart, Tony Bennett, Tom Jones, Tina Turner and Ozzy Osbourne.

The show has been a staple at Harrah’s Reno since a few months after he wrapped his

critically acclaimed two month debut stint at Leicester Square on London’s West End. Unlike most impressionist shows which remain static throughout their run, London updates his storylines and array of characters every six months.

London’s beautifully arranged, intimate rendition of “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” will be released to AC radio stations across the country in mid-October and was recently included in a compilation created by Daybreak Entertainment that is sent out to all major market morning shows.

Produced by veteran film composer Eric Colvin, the track also features the sensual saxophone of contemporary jazz star Warren Hill and backing vocals by famed session and touring singers Arnold McCuller and Kate Markowitz, who have performed together for years with James Taylor.

The first single from the EP to go to AC radio early next year will be announced shortly.

" Now, when you think about penguins, first take a deep calming breath, and then think "cuddly". Take another breath, and think "cute". Go back to "cuddly" for a while (and go on breathing), then think "contented". With me so far? Good.. Now, with penguins, (cuddly such), "contented" means it has either just gotten laid, or it's stuffed on herring. Take it from me, I'm an expert on penguins, those are really the only two options."
