INXS fans around the globe have started a campaign on Facebook to get the Australian band INXS to number one with their 1980′s hit Don’t Change. They are looking to honor the memory of late INXS singer Michael Hutchence who died in 1997. January 22nd would have marked his 50th birthday. For more information please go to the Facebook group Get Michael Hutchence to no 1 for his 50th birthday
INXS are currently poised to begin a world tour on February 24, 2010 at the Vancouver Winter Olympics. The band have been working on a project that claims to be of epic proportions like their 1987 smash album Kick. Singers such as Rob Thomas of Matchbox Twenty and Brandon Flowers of the Killers have been working on vocals with the band.
If you wish to join in the effort to get INXS to number one for what would have been Michael Hutchence’s 50th birthday, please go to Amazon or iTunes in your country and download the song Don’t Change from the album Shabooh Shoobah.
