INXS fans want a #1 hit for Michael Hutchence’s 50th birthday

INXS fans around the globe have started a campaign on Facebook to get the Australian band INXS to number one with their 1980′s hit Don’t Change. They are looking to honor the memory of late INXS singer Michael Hutchence who died in 1997. January 22nd would have marked his 50th birthday. Billy Idol guitarist Steve Stevens will be performing Friday January 15, 2010 at Tone Merchants Music. He will be joined by guitarist Peter Thorn (Chris Cornell) & vocalist Franky Perez (Slash, Camp Freddy). Admission is free but Tone Merchants asks for a charitable donation.
